SHNA Quarterly Meeting + Townhall

Townhall: After our guests share updates, we invite all neighbors to join us for a community
conversation about our priorities for 2027. Bring your ideas, concerns, and hopes for the year
ahead.

2027 SHNA Membership
Support the Story Hill neighborhood by contributing. Your payment helps subsidize community events,
book event spaces, and provide materials for gatherings like community meetings, picnics, coffee in the
parks, happy hours, holiday parties, and activities at Mitchell Park. Every contribution ensures effective
communication between our elected leaders and neighbors, fosters community spirit, and helps
Story Hill continue to thrive. Annual membership renewal is due January 1, 2027 - suggested annual
membership dues are $20 per household. Please use the new Story Hill Neighborhood Association
website: https://www.storyhillmke.com for membership sign-up, contact changes and payments.
SHNA Trick-or-Treat

Neighborhood trick-or-treat will take place ON HALLOWEEN this year and will coincide with the City
of Milwaukee’s trick-or-treating hours! If you are participating in trick-or-treat, please be sure to turn on
your porch light and/or have your decorations lit up!

Join us for our Annual Holiday Party! Tickets are $20/person with RSVP ($25 at the door) and include
an Italian-style buffet, soda, and coffee. Dinner is served at 6:00 PM, with additional drinks available for
purchase. Adults 21+ only. Sign up on our website www.storyhillmke.com in the store under the
Neighbors section.
• Cookie Exchange: Bring a dozen or more of your favorite treats to share. We’ll provide containers
to take home an assortment. If possible, bring your recipe for neighbors to photograph.
• White Elephant Exchange: Want to participate? Bring a wrapped gift from home, no purchases
needed.

Recycle your Christmas tree with us! Drop it off at the top of North Story Parkway during the first week
of January or bring it Saturday morning and enjoy coffee or hot chocolate with your neighbors.
Can’t transport your tree? Place it at the curb Friday evening, and our volunteers will pick it up.
